PATTERN-MOLDED PANELLED VASE, deep cobalt blue, the body with 12 broad arch-top flutes below a short neck and rolled-over rim, the flutes extend over the kick-up base to a rough pontil mark. Traditionally attributed to America, probably New England. 1830-1860. 8 1/4" H, 5 1/4" D rim, 3 1/2" D base.
