PATTERN-MOLDED STRIPE OPEN SALT, medium amethyst, double-ogee bowl with vertical stripes repeated 16 times, raised on an applied short plain stem and sloping, irregular foot with rough pontil mark. Pittsburgh, Ohio, and others. 1790-1835. 2 1/2" H, 2 3/8" D rim, 1 7/8" D foot.
