PAUL HERZEL POMPEIAN BRONZE COMPANY PIRATE BOOKENDS, LOT OF THREE, all depicting a pirate standing with a sword held to his side, the single example marked "POMPEIAN BRONZE" on back of plinth base, retains traces of its original polychrome-painted decoration. Pair unmarked but possibly also by Paul Herzel for Pompeian Bronze. Circa 1920. 10" HOA, 5" WOA, 3 1/2" DOA.
Good condition overall, minor surface wear with losses to most of polychrome paint.
