PENNSYLVANIA FOLK ART DRAWING WITH POEM, watercolor and ink on paper, a floral garland, with blue flowers and pink bow, over a finely scribed poem, titled "The Cuckoo". Signed, inscribed, and dated "Ann F. Slocum / Germantown / April 26th 1830" in lower register. Housed under glass in period frame. Dated 1830. 9 1/2" x 7 5/8" sight, 11 1/4" x 9 3/8" OA.
Provenance: From a Virginia private collection.
Drawing laminated in clear plastic. Otherwise very good condition with minor, toning and small edge tear. Frame with minor wear. Not examined out of frame.
