PENNSYLVANIA PAINT-DECORATED PINE BLANKET CHEST, rectangular lid fitted with likely original strap hinges over dovetailed case, interior with lidded till, raised on bold turned feet. Retains original yellow sponge-decorated case, lid with red-and-black grain-painted molding and ebonized base. Possibly Lancaster Co., PA. Circa 1830. 27" H, 50" W, 23" D.
