PENNSYLVANIA PAINT-DECORATED PINE DOWER / BLANKET CHEST, strap hinged rectangular top with applied moldings, over dovetailed case with lidded till, raised on applied bracket feet. Retains paint-decorated surface featuring three arched panels bearing stylized flowering vases devices and for "Elizbth / Geltza / 1779". Dated 1779. 22 1/2" H, 52 1/4" W, 23 1/2" D.
