PENNSYLVANIA PAINTED PINE WORK TABLE,
two-board removable scrubbed top with battens affixed to underside, over two short drawers with thumb-molded profile and original turned wooden knobs, all raised on ring-turned legs. Retains likely original red-painted surface.
Possibly Jacob Knagy (1796-1883) or Soap Hollow School.
Circa 1830.

Condition
Very good overall condition with scattered moderate wear. Top with heavier wear, two holes drilled to each end, probably for mounting a grinder. Minor losses to drawer lips.
