PENNYBACKER FAMILY, SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA PHOTOGRAPHS AND RELATED MATERIAL, LOT OF SIX, comprising full-plate tintype images of original profile portraits of Derrick Dehavn Pennybacker (1797-1878) and his wife Amanda Strayer Pennybacker (1808-1869), probably drawn for their 1831 wedding; another full-plate tintype contemporaneous portrait of Derrick Pennybacker; an 1847 receipt signed by Derrick Pennybacker for money received from John Harrison; a manuscript letter from Henry Pennybacker to Edward Shippen of Philadelphia; and a hand-drawn Pennybacker Family coat of arms. Each framed. 19th century and circa 1965. 16 1/2" x 14" OA.
