PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA CHIPPENDALE MAHOGANY SIDE CHAIR,
shaped crest rail with molded ears, above a pierced vasiform splat with urn / vase, trapezoidal seat frame, raised on square legs joined by an H-form stretcher, later upholstery. Retains an old surface with warm color.
Circa 1770.
38" HOA, 19" H seat, 17" D seat.
