Caldwell & Co. having cylindrical well featuring a possibly period engraved monogram with probably later "Maman Alicia / December 15th 1957" to side, die-rolled foliate border along base and a D-form handle, and a baluster-form example by or retailed by Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co. with repousse and chased Art Nouveau-style floral decoration, engraved "AAM" initials to side, gilt-washed interior, and a scrolled handle with acanthus leaf thumbrest, raised on a round foot. Each with "STERLING" and maker's/retailer's marks. Total weight: 9.995 ozt. 19th/20th century. 3 1/2" HOA.

Good overall condition with some wear and surface scratches, other imperfections including nicks, dents, and/or worn spots to raised decoration; Caldwell example with possible repair to rim; baluster form with a split to top of thumbrest along seam.
