PILLAR-MOLDED LARGE OPEN COMPOTE, colorless lead glass, bell-form bowl with eight pronounced ribs and a flared gauffered rim, raised on an applied waisted stem and circular foot, rough pontil mark. Attributed to the Pittsburgh area. 1850-1870. 9 1/4" H, 11 5/8" D rim, 6 1/2" D foot.
