PILLAR-MOLDED QUART BAR DECANTER, medium amethyst, conical form with eight pronounced ribs, applied plain neck ring, and rounded bar lip with lower collar, rough pontil mark. Pittsburgh area. 1850-1870. 10 1/4" H, 5 1/4" D base.

Condition

Excellent condition overall with some light post-production polishing around the edge of the mouth; some roughness to the base of the ridges at the high-points; having scattered surface wear and some interior residue. Having a few potstones to the lower body, as made.
