PRESSED ACANTHUS LEAF WHALE OIL / FLUID STAND LAMP, brilliant Canary, small size, dome-top font with 12 protruding petals below the shoulder and a short hexagonal extension with 12 beads below, raised on a 12-petal-top acanthus leaf standard and double-step square base beaded between the steps, wafer construction, brass fine-line collar. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. 1840-1860. 11 1/2" H, 4" SQ base.

Good condition overall with a sizeable chip to one low base corner, two additional base chips, additional chip to one top step corner; and loss to flange under the collar with some chipping extending outside of the collar.
