PRESSED CIRCLE AND ELLIPSE VASE, brilliant violet blue, large size, medium conical bowl with a gauffered six-petal rim, raised on a hexagonal double-knop stem and flared foot, single-piece construction. New England. 1850-1870. 9 1/2" H, 4" DOA rim, 4 1/4" DOA base.

Proof. Having a tool mark to the interior of the rim reaching to the rim; having a couple minor potstones to the edge of the wafer; having some expected light mold roughness to the edge of the foot, all as made.
