PRESSED EIGHT-FLUTE TUMBLERS, LOT OF TWO, fiery opalescent and deep violet blue, each having a hexagonal base. Probably New England. 1840-1860. 3 1/4" H, 3 1/8" and 3 1/4" D rims.
Provenance: From the Peter H. Tillou estate, Litchfield, CT.
Opalescent undamaged; violet having a sliver chip to the underside of the base, a few isolated minute flakes.
