PRESSED HEAVY HEXAGONAL VASE, brilliant emerald green, deep tulip-form bowl with conforming six-petal rim and heavy protruding lower ring, raised on a hexagonal stem with upper knop and a circular foot with polished pontil mark, single-piece construction. Probably New England, possibly Pittsburgh area. 1840-1860. 9 1/2" H, 5 3/4" DOA rim, 4 1/8" D foot.
