PRESSED LOOP / LEAF PAIR OF WHALE OIL / FLUID STAND LAMPS, colorless, each having a dome-top six-loop font featuring a lower double-step, raised on a compressed knop stem and octagonal baluster-form standard and square base, wafer construction, period pewter collars. Each fitted with a period pewter two-tube burner. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. 1840-1860. 10" H to top of collar, 3 1/8" SQ base.

Condition
One nearly proof with a few minor flakes to the base edge; other having a potstone to the body resulting in a crack to the font, having a bruise and flake to the base edge. Nearly proof example having mold roughness to the upper loops, each having annealing lines to the knop extension.
