PRESSED MATCHING STEM KEROSENE STAND LAMPS, LOT OF FOUR,
amber and black bases,
comprising a Panel-Optic font, an Embossed Swirl font, and two having stencil-decorated opal fonts, each having patent information embossed to the underside, each having a brass collar. One fitted with a period slip burner.
Maker unverified.
Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century.
8 3/4" to 9 3/4" H to top of the collar.
Provenance:Michael Carter collection, Hanover, PA.
Swirl undamaged; two having some flaking/chipping to the base edge; opal font with amber stem having a small bruise to the standard.
