PRESSED PETAL AND COLUMNAR PAIR OF CANDLESTICKS, Canary (reacts under black light), each six-petal socket with a hexagonal extension, raised on a columnar standard and double-step square base, rough pontil mark to interior, wafer construction. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1850-1865. 9 1/2" H, 3 5/8" SQ base.

Condition

One in very good condition with two chips to the socket petals with some scattered flaking to the base edge; other having a crack to the socket, a sliver chip to the underside of one socket petal, bruise to the base edge. Each having some instances of mold roughness, as made.
