R.J. HORNER (NEW YORK, 1854-1922), ATTRIBUTED, CARVED MAHOGANY MARBLE-TOP CONSOLE TABLE, a fine example, with extensive carved ornamentation, featuring winged griffins and stylized mask flanked by floral swags. Retains an attic surface with rich color. Fourth quarter 19th century. 31 1/4" HOA, 45 1/2" x 27 1/2".

Very good overall visual condition, scattered minor losses, and with areas of minor wear, marble top a later replacement.
