RARE 33-STAR AMERICAN NATIONAL OREGON STATEHOOD PARADE FLAG, printed silk, of impressive size, the blue canton featuring extremely unusual "Circle in a Square" pattern with central "Great Star", the fly with 13 red and white stripes, hand-stitched hemmed edges, hoist end retaining two original cotton loops, unframed. Reserve. Circa 1859. 28" x 51" object.
Condition
Good overall original condition with minor to moderate wear, discoloration, tears, and losses, heavier to fly.
