RARE AMERICAN FOUR-TIER SHEET-IRON KEROSENE CHANDELIER, the lower level being a hexagonal fluid tank fitted with six Plume & Atwood "Harvard" burners, topped with a circular tier set with original mirrored reflector panels, above are two stepped tiers having convex decorated surfaces and original decorative brass chains to the lower mirrored tier, iron loop at top of the center support post for hanging. Retains its original painted decorated surfaces. Modern glass chimneys. Possibly made in Philadelphia. Circa 1870. Approximately 4' H, tank 20" DOA, mirrored tier 33" DOA.
Condition
Excellent original condition, four upright crown leaves replaced on mirrored tier, otherwise only minor losses to surfaces.
