REPLICA CIVIL WAR CONFEDERATE NAVAL CUTLASS, solid brass hilt resembling that of the M1841 US Naval cutlass with fishscale grip, D-guard, and drop quillon, front of the pommel is cast "CSN" with the reverse featuring a diagonally oriented fouled anchor, unmarked straight, slightly waisted blade with central medial ridged. Possibly by Charles Wellford at Catherine's Furnace in Fredericksburg, Virginia. 20th century. 25 3/4" LOA, 20 1/2" L blade.
Very good condition, quillon bent down, almost touching blade, blade with light pitting/flaws.
