RICHARD HOLLINGSHEAD (AMERICAN, B. 1964) SPIDER SUNSET AVENTURINE AND OPALESCENT STUDIO ART GLASS MARBLE ON STAND, highly complex marble with a front window with a shaded blue and orange spiral, two exterior bands of cream, red, and blue aventurine complex swirls with a seven-petal rosette with amethyst aventurine interior to the reverse, side presents many stacked layers of amber, opal, and blue layers, raised on an inverted baluster-form stand with shaded amber opalescent draped columns, with applied cream and ruby trim to the edge of the foot. Fitted in a "Pelican 1120" latch case which is signed and dated by the artists, title of the piece is also written on the case. Richard Hollingshead Glass, Albuquerque, NM. 2023. 3 1/2" HOA, 1 3/4" H stand, 2" D marble.
