RICHMOND, VIRGINIA STONEWARE WHISKEY ADVERTISING JUGS, LOT OF TWO, Bristol-slip glazed, each having cylindrical body with sharp shoulder, plain mouth, and applied strap handle, comprising an approximately two-gallon capacity example with Albany-slip glazed top and an approximately one-gallon capacity example. Each having printed stamp "A. HATKE & CO, / DISTILLERS OF FINE / WHISKEYS / RICHMOND, VA / ESTABLISHED 1867". Andrew Hatke & Co., Richmond, VA. Circa 1885. 10 3/4" and 12 5/8" HOA.

Condition
Smaller example having two flakes to shoulder, one minor; larger example having some scattered radial hairlines to Bristol glaze, possibly glaze only, and a bruise and a shallow chip to base edge.
