SANBORNS MEXICAN STERLING, AND POSSIBLY OTHER SILVER, ARTICLES, LOT OF EIGHT, comprising a small oval tray with scalloped rim having engraved decoration of alternating flower and animal motifs, a set of six small dishes/butter pats, and a small bowl set with a 1910 peso coins. Each marked "SANBORNS / MEXICO", tray and bowl marked "STERLING", dishes/butter pats without fineness mark and of unknown silver content. Total weight: 14.780 ozt. Together with an unmarked sombrero dish, probably Mexican, having engraved decoration, of unknown silver/metal content, total weight of 4.725 ozt. Nine pieces total. Sanborns, Mexico City, Mexico. 20th century. Tray 9 3/4" x 6 1/4" OA.
Good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including slight bending, one or some dents, and minor worn spots.
