SCHOOL OF MARK CATESBY (BRITISH, 1683-1749) ORNITHOLOGY DRAWING, watercolor, gouache, and pen on laid paper, depicting a brightly colored parrot on a branch fragment, no signature located. Housed under glass in a later painted frame. First half 18th century. 10 3/4" SQ sight, 12 1/4" OA.
Condition
Some losses/rubbing to green on wings, otherwise excellent with only a few minor spots.
