SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA FOLK ART THEOREM PAINTING, watercolor on paper, depicting a bird, possibly an eagle on a branch with bright green plumage. Housed under glass in a later walnut frame. Mid 19th century. 4" x 4" sight, 6" x 6" OA.
Provenance: From the John H. and Joan S. Byrd estate collection, Harrisonburg, VA.
Descended in the Andrew Byrd family of Craney Island/Smith's Creek, Rockingham Co., VA.

Condition

Very good condition with some expected toning, 1/2" tear from right edge. Not examined out of frame.
