SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA MIXED WOODS DOUGH BOX WITH LID, poplar, white oak, and yellow pine, box joined with screws, having a tapered rectangular form with applied handles, raised on four chamfered legs, each joined through mortise. Retains a cleaned surface with warm color. Second half 19th century. 30 1/4" H, 15 3/4" x 35 3/4" cover.
