SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA WALNUT BLANKET CHEST, hinged rectangular top with applied moldings, over dovetailed case with lidded till having two full drawers with period brass pulls, raised on cut-out bracket feet. Yellow pine secondary wood. Retains an old refinished surface with warm color. Late 18th/early 19th century. 21" H, 45" W, 21 3/4" D.
