comprising one Southern white oak garden/market basket with an arched handle and wrapped double rim, and four Northeastern ash examples, probably Native American, with painted decoration including one covered basket. Each retains original dry surface.
Late 19th/early 20th century.
Garden/market basket 14 3/4" HOA, 10" H rim, 15 1/2" x 21 1/2" OA rim.
Condition
Fair to good overall condition with expected usage wear, minor to moderate breaks and losses, some losses to paint decoration; garden/market basket with a surface crack to one bend in handle.
