SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA POPLAR PUNCHED-TIN PANELED PIE / FOOD SAFE, rectangular two-board top above two short drawers over two hinged doors, each fitted with two-part tin panel exhibiting a diamond design flanked by foliate corner devices, the whole raised on tapered feet issuing from the stiles. Retains likely original turned wooden knobs and an old surface with warm color. Probably Wythe or Grayson County, Virginia. Mid 19th century. 48 1/2" H, 46 1/4" W, 18 1/2" D.
