STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC JUG / PITCHER, featuring the Seal of the United States below the spout, depicting a spread-wing eagle with shield on breast and grasping a ribbon with "E PLURIBUS UNUM" in beak, having flowers and scrolls border decoration. Impressed "C" to underside, otherwise unmarked. William Adams IV & Sons, Stoke-on-Trent, England. 1829-1861. 7 3/8" HOA.
