STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL / WASHINGTON TRANSFER-PRINTED PITCHER / JUG, each side featuring a black transfer medallion image of the young president with "HONOR THE BRAVE" above, a spread wing eagle to top with two polychrome enamel American flags having liberty caps to tip of pole, and ribbon at bottom with "THE UNION IT MUST AND SHALL BE PRESERVED". Mid 19th century. 9 3/8" HOA.

Condition
Spout broken and repaired and a faint radial hairline to underside that does not appear to go through to interior.
