STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATE, featuring "CITY OF ALBANY / STATE OF NEW YORK", as printed to underside, depicting a town on hill overlooking a waterway with boats and cattle in the foreground. Additional marks to underside include a printed American eagle and shield with banner having "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and an impressed eagle and shield with "E WOOD & SONS BURSLEM WARRANTED / SEMI CHINA". Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. 1818-1846. 10 1/8" D.
