STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATE, featuring "CAPITOL / WASHINGTON", as printed to underside, depicting a triple-dome building, two couples in front, and two figures on bench, from the Vine Border series. Additional marks to underside include "R S & W" below pattern name and impressed half circle. Ralph Stevenson & Williams, Cobridge, England. 1825-1827. 9 5/8" D.
