STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLISH VIEW / NAUTICAL MOTIF TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC SAUCE TUREEN, UNDERTRAY, AND LADLE, comprising a tureen known as "Shell Border, Irregular Center - Unidentified View b" in Arman's Historical Staffordshire Check-List, depicting multiple boats on serene water with castle in background, an undertray featuring "CHISWICK ON THE THAMES", as printed below image, depicting a sailboat with village in background, and a ladle featuring a sailing boat on quiet water to bowl interior with molded eagle head handle, each having bold shell border. Marks to underside include a printed "3" to tray underside, otherwise unmarked. Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. 1818-1846. 6 1/4" HOA.
