STAFFORDSHIRE HAND-PAINTED PEARLWARE MUSICIAN PAIR OF FIGURES, each standing on a square base with hand-brushed "Flemish Music" to front, comprising a woman wearing a green hat playing the lute and a man wearing a rose-colored jacket playing a hurdy-gurdy. Early 19th century. 8 3/4" HOA.

Condition

Woman mostly undamaged except having professional restoration to thumbs and possible paint touch-up to hat; man having minor chip to one base corner, professional restoration to underside of hat, and some characteristic glaze exfoliation to grassy mound.
