STAFFORDSHIRE PEARLWARE "ITALIAN" TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC COVERED DISH,
having a stacked three-piece form including a base, a removable domed middle and top cover with flower finial, featuring a pastoral scene depicting ruins with figures and animals. Incised "2" to base underside, otherwise unmarked.
1816-1835.
5 1/2" HOA, base 11 3/4"D.

Excellent visual condition, base having minor faint radial hairline to well, primarily visible to exterior only, middle dome with minute paint touch-up to rim flake, and top cover with professional restoration to rim chip.
