STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF NINE, including a waste bowl featuring three cartouches depicting scenes with sailboats and one with cottage and two figures, a footed goblet featuring a castle-like structure with cattle in foreground, a cup and saucer set featuring a shepherd boy watching over his flock with a three-story building in background, a soup plate with "WRITTLE LODGE / ESSEX", as printed to underside, and two plates consisting of one with "ITALIAN SCENERY / ST PETERS ROME", as printed to underside, and one with Cupid Imprisoned. Additional marks to underside include printed eagle and shield mark with "No 21" below, impressed crown encircled with "A. STEVENSON WARANTED STAFFORDSHIRE".
