STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, each having mulberry/purple transfer scene, comprising a platter featuring "Mogul / Scenery" #13 depicting figures amongst ruins with a camel and elephant, and two jugs/pitchers with Caledonia patterns depicting hunters wearing kilts including one with Caledonia #7 and remaining featuring Caledonia #4 to one side and #5 to other. Marks to underside include printed standing lion with "T MAYER / STOKE UPON TRENT" below. Thomas Mayer, Stoke-on-Trent; William Adams IV & Sons, Stoke-on-Trent, England. Second quarter 19th century. 7 7/8" HOA, platter 17" x 14 1/2".

Condition

Caledonia #7 jug undamaged; platter having professional restoration to area on rim; remaining jug having broken and glued handle and a hairline to shoulder.
