STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED INDIAN SPORTING SERIES CERAMIC TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising a circular tureen featuring blue transfer scene "The Hog at Bay", depicting a boar hunt with figures on horses and elephants, cover, an ovoid and a circular undertray each featuring "HUNTING / A BUFFALO", as printed to underside, depicting hunters astride elephants taking aiming at a long-horned buffalo, and border featuring various exotic animals, and a Late Spode / Copeland & Garrett ladle with a hut to interior bowl. Marks to underside include impressed "SPODE / 9", "LATE / SPODE" encircled with "COPELAND & GARRETT", and printed "SPODE". Spode, Stoke-on-Trent, England. 19th century. Circular tureen 10" HOA, ovoid undertray 15 1/2" x 11".
