STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED ROMANTIC MOTIF CERAMIC PLATTERS, LOT OF TWO, each having brown/sepia transfer scenes, comprising one featuring "CAROLINA", as printed to underside, depicting a child riding a large dog and two exotic birds perched to an urn behind, and one featuring Oriental Scenery #2 depicting two sailing vessels with soldiers and neoclassical structures. Marks to underside include printed urn with "R HALL" to base and impressed "HALL", "T. MAYER / STOKE", and "16". Ralph Hall, Tunstall; Thomas Mayer, Stoke, England.
