STAFFORDSHIRE VIRGINIA AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC CUP PLATE, featuring black transfer of The Valley of Shenandoah from Jefferson's Rock, depicting figures and goats or deer overlooking a serene river between mountains. Impressed Royal Coat of Arms (lion and unicorn) with "OPAQUE / GRANITE / CHINA / W.R. & Co." to shield to underside. William Ridgway, Shelton, Hanley, England. 1830-1854. 3 7/8" D.
