STAFFORDSHIRE WILKIE'S DESIGNS TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC TEA AND TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, each featuring the scene "CHRISTMAS EVE" depicting family gathered around a small table, comprising a cup and saucer set, a large handled cup, and an 8 7/8" D plate. Marks to underside include plate with printed pattern name and two with impressed crown encircled with "CLEWS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE". Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, England. 1814–1834. Handled cup 2 3/4" HOA.

Condition

Plate and saucer undamaged; handleless cup having some minute flakes to rim interior and a chip to foot ring; large cup with curved hairline just above base, primarily visible to interior due to decoration, and a chip to foot ring.
