STAMPED "H. WESTON / HONESDALE, P.A." PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE JUG, salt-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, beehive form with collared mouth, applied strap handle, Albany-slip glazed interior. Slip-trailed cobalt "bee stinger"-style design, additional cobalt highlighting stamp. Horace Weston, Jr., Honesdale, PA. Circa 1860. 10 3/4" HOA.
Condition
Mostly undamaged, except base edge having a bruise and two shallow chips.
