STAMPED "[MFG'D] BY / HAN[KINSON & HAHN] / AUGUSTA, GA." GEORGIA STONEWARE JUG, dark brown alkaline-glazed, approximately two-gallon capacity, cylindrical form with sharp shoulder, slightly flaring plain mouth, and applied strap handle. Luther Hankinson & Thomas Hahn, North Augusta, SC. Late 19th/early 20th century. 13 5/8" HOA.

Excellent condition, except having a chip to mouth.
