STAMPED "ROCKBRIDGE", ROCKBRIDGE CO., SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, tall ovoid form with incised shoulder ring, tab handles, and rounded rim. Brushed cobalt quatrefoil decoration on unmarked side, cobalt highlighting stamp. Attributed to John Morgan's Bustle-Firebaugh Pottery or the Rockbridge Baths Pottery. Circa 1830. 10 7/8" H, 5 1/8" D rim.
