STAMPED "S. BELL & SON / STRASBURG", SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA STONEWARE JAR,
salt-glazed,
approximately one-gallon capacity, cylindrical form with squared rim and incised shoulder ring. Brushed manganese dropped feather repeated three times below collar. Together with an English covered sugar featuring a polychrome peafowl/parrot design with blue-sponged decoration. Two pieces total.
