STAMPED SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA STONEWARE JARS, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, each of cylindrical form with squared rims, comprising a "3" gallon capacity mark example stamped "J.M. HICKERSON / STRASBURG VA." and a "1" gallon capacity mark example stamped "J. EBERLY & BRO / STRASBURG, VA." The pottery of Jacob Eberly (1830-1908) and Daniel Letcher Eberly (1859-1919); James M. Hickerson (1833-1902) Strasburg, VA. 1875-1890. 8 1/2" H, 6 1/8" D rim and 13 3/4" H, 9 1/8" D rim.
